Barred Owl

The owl is my favorite character, actually he the star of my doodles!

A fun fact is that Barred owls are known for their call which sounds like the phrase, "who cooks for you, you cooks for you all?"  

Listening to that sound could help you identify the owl when bird-watching in the forest.  While most other owls have yellow eyes, the Barred Owl has brown eyes. It has a small, sharp, dull yellow beak. Named after the bars on its chest, the Barred Owl is the most vocal of Eastern owls. It is sometimes called the laughing owl due to its many vocalizations (sounds it makes).
